From Idea to Proof of Concept
Vinea set out with a clear ambition: to move beyond traditional dashboards and create a system that actively supports better decisions on the factory floor. With Lyra, the goal was not incremental improvement, but a fundamental shift in how manufacturing teams gain clarity and take action. The challenge was equally clear, spending months on specs or business cases would not guarantee real value. Instead, we chose fast iteration and hands-on learning to bring the vision to life.
Our Approach
Through four rapid iterations, we transformed an early concept into a functional Proof of Concept that validates both idea and direction. We began by modeling the underlying factory environment, machines, orders, and production flows, to create a realistic foundation for testing real-world scenarios. AI-driven prompts were then designed to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations, supporting Vinea’s vision of decision-first systems. Early prototypes made it possible to test ideas and workflows collaboratively, ensuring continuous alignment between vision, usability, and technical feasibility. In parallel, the interface evolved alongside Vinea’s visual identity, refining both look-and-feel and user experience. A flexible underlying architecture enabled experimentation, fine-tuning, and exploration of new opportunities, uncovering leverage points that drive tangible impact.
The Outcome
Lyra is now more than a dashboard. It’s a Factory Operating System that cuts through noise, highlights what truly matters, and delivers actionable insights in real time. The PoC already demonstrates clear value, providing a concrete foundation that can be shared with customers, boards, and investors. Key assumptions have been validated, risks reduced, and significant time saved by testing early and building what matters.
